Whichever of these options you choose, the file will take some time to import and process, so make sure you add videos well before the live stream starts. Video storage - Click Upload Videos and select a file from your computer, or click the Descript, Google Drive, or Dropbox buttons, and paste a public link to a video hosted on one of those sites. ![]() Only you can click the toggle to add presentations into the live stream, however. Your studio guests can also add presentations and control the slides. ⭐️ Keep in mind, Restream doesn't support video, audio, or animations in presentations, and only the first 500 images in a presentation will be loaded. When you add a source to the studio, it appears with your speakers and other sources on the left side of the studio, and you can control each one in different ways. To add a source of any type, simply click the Add Source (+) button, select a source, and then complete the necessary steps. Use the layout buttons under the screen to change how the screen appears alongside you and your speakers. Now, click Share, and your screen appears with your speakers and sources on the left side of the studio. To share audio from your screen, you must click the Share system/tab audio checkbox. Your cursor displays a little plus sign if the action is successful. Open a new tab and drag the file into Chrome from your computer desktop or folder. Your Entire Screen - Shares your entire desktop screen.Īpplication Window - This lets you choose one application at a time and is great for sharing a PowerPoint or keynote.Ĭhrome Tab - This lets you share any file from your computer in a Chrome Tab. Picture-in-Picture - This view and the following two are great for when speakers are sharing content and discussing it, whether it's their screen, a video, an image, or something else! The content they're discussing can take center stage while the speakers appear in small frames either below the content, or to the side.Ĭlick the Share screen button below the view selection. The speaker or source on the left takes up the half side of the stream, and anyone else shows up on the left in a smaller frame. Half Screen (not pictured above) - This is a combination of the Contain and Cover layouts. This is great for when you want to show a background with sponsor content, highlight chats, or show captions.Ĭover - This view is perfect for when the speakers are the only focus and you don't need to show background content or non-person sources. Views you can choose from include:Ĭontain - This view shows each presenter and source with some space between them. Again, you can change this during your stream as well. Make sure to send speakers the most up-to-date link after making changes. ⭐️ Keep in mind, if you're using Webex Events Closed Captions & Translations, the Invite Speakers URL changes any time you enable or disable closed captions, or when you change the provider to/from Webex Events Closed Captions & Translations. We highly recommend sharing the Webex Events Streaming Speaker Instructions article with them as well. Copy the link, and send it to your speakers or presenters joining the stream. The Invite Speakers link will now be available. Inviting your speakers couldn't be easier! You simply share a link with them that they use to join the studio before your live stream.Įdit the Live Stream feature or Agenda session you made previously. You can also click Purchase to start a chat with our support team and get credits added. If necessary, use this process to transfer credits between teams. ⭐️ Keep in mind, if the button in the bottom right corner of the modal says Purchase instead of Activate, you can click Manage Teams to see the credits assigned to each team you're a part of.
